In the UK, construction industries require workers to be knowledgeable and qualified before entering construction sites. The CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) ensures that workers’ skills and competence are properly assessed. Based on this assessment, workers are assigned the appropriate CSCS card to match their responsibilities on-site.
The CSCS Red Provisional Card is for individuals who are new to the construction industry or those who do not have any qualifications yet. It serves as a provisional card while workers gain experience and work toward obtaining a more advanced qualification.
This card cannot be renewed. It is valid for one-time use only.
Cardholders are expected to complete their qualification before the card expires and then apply for a skilled CSCS card (e.g., Green Labourer Card).
Complete the Application Form to order a replacement. Your card will be delivered in 5–6 working days.
Once you submit the required documents, your Red Provisional Card will be delivered to your address within 5–6 working days.
