In the UK, many construction sites require workers to be qualified and knowledgeable. The CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) ensures that workers have the required skills and competence by assessing their abilities. Based on this assessment, an appropriate CSCS card is assigned to each worker, reflecting their role and responsibilities on site.
This card is for experienced individuals working in a specific trade who are registered with a valid NVQ or SVQ Level 2 (or higher) qualification. Common trades include Painting, Plastering, Carpentry, Bricklaying, etc.
The Red Experienced Worker Card is valid for one time only. Cardholders are expected to complete their qualification before the card expires and then apply for a skilled CSCS card (e.g., Blue Skilled Worker Card).
If your card is lost or stolen, complete the Application Form to request a replacement. Your card will arrive within 5–6 working days.
After submitting all documents, your CSCS Red Experienced Worker Card will be delivered to your address within 5–6 working days.
