Terminology
"We", "our", "us" refers to ConstructionsCert, operated as a sole trader based at Sandford Street, Staffordshire, West Midlands, WS14 0ED, United Kingdom, and its associated services.
"You", "your", "customer", "applicant" refers to the user of our services and website, including individuals applying for CSCS cards or related construction certification.
Eligibility & Minimum Age
CSCS card applications and related services cannot be processed for individuals under the age of 16. By using our services, you confirm that you meet the minimum age requirements and are legally able to enter into a contract under UK law.
Business Bookings
If making bookings or applications on behalf of a business or organization, you confirm that you possess the necessary authority to make purchases and bind the business to these terms.
Agreement & Acceptance
By accessing or using our CSCS card application and certification services, you accept these terms in full. We reserve the right to amend these terms without prior notice; the terms active at the time of your service engagement will apply.
Pricing & Currency
All prices are displayed in GBP (£) and include applicable service fees unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice, but confirmed applications and bookings will not be affected by subsequent price adjustments.
Availability & Booking Confirmation
All CSCS card application services and related bookings are subject to availability. Confirmation of your application or booking will be sent within 48 working hours via email to the address provided during registration. If confirmation is not received, please contact [email protected].
Reschedules & Cancellations
Standard Rescheduling
Applications may be rescheduled free of charge if requested 5+ working days prior to any scheduled appointments or test dates.
Late Rescheduling
Requests made less than 5 working days before scheduled appointments may incur rebooking and applicable administrative fees.
CSCS Application Processing
Application processing fees are non-refundable once verification and submission procedures have commenced.
Administrative Fees
An administrative fee may apply for cancellations, incomplete applications, or invalid submissions requiring reprocessing.
Proof of Booking & Documentation
Your confirmation email serves as CSCS proof of booking and agreement to these terms. You are responsible for providing accurate personal and qualification details. We are not responsible for errors resulting from incorrect information provided during application. Applicants must ensure all required documentation is valid and current.
Payment Details
- CSCS card application service fee (includes our administration, verification, and processing support)
- Additional CITB test fees may apply if not previously completed
- All payments are processed securely through authorized UK payment partners; we do not store card or payment information
Consumer Rights
Your statutory rights under UK consumer protection law remain unaffected by these terms. These terms are in addition to your legal rights as a consumer.
Our Right to Cancel
We reserve the right to cancel or suspend a booking or application due to unforeseen circumstances including but not limited to technical issues, documentation discrepancies, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Where possible, alternative arrangements or refunds will be offered.
CSCS Card Application & Verification Policy
- All applications require submission of valid supporting documentation within specified timeframes
- Administrative fees may apply for invalid, incomplete, or cancelled applications
- Applicants must meet CSCS eligibility criteria as established by UK construction industry standards
- Application fees cover our administration, verification, and processing support services
- We provide guidance and support but are not responsible for final CSCS card issuance decisions
Liability & Disclaimers
We exercise all reasonable care in providing CSCS card application and certification services, but our liability is limited as follows:
- We are not liable for indirect, special, or consequential losses arising from service use
- We are not responsible for errors in information provided by third parties including awarding bodies or training providers
- We are not liable for missed appointments, documentation issues, or delays caused by applicants or third-party providers
- Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question
