For skilled trades such as bricklayers, carpenters and plumbers. You normally require the Operatives HS&E test plus an NVQ or SVQ Level 2 in your specific trade or occupation.
For advanced tradespeople who have completed an NVQ Level 3 or an approved apprenticeship. Requires the Operatives or Specialist/Supervisor HS&E test depending on your occupation.
Designed for supervisors and team leaders. You usually need to pass the Supervisors HS&E test and hold an NVQ or SVQ Level 3 or 4 in a relevant supervisory qualification.
For senior managers and project leaders. Normally requires the Managers and Professionals (MAP) HS&E test plus an NVQ Level 5, 6 or 7 in construction management or a related field.

Aimed at experienced technical, supervisory or managerial staff with at least 1–3 years of experience who are working towards an NVQ Level 3 or higher qualification.
